I recently tested the Creality Ender Constant Temperature Protective Enclosure to see if it could actually stabilize my trickier prints. It fits perfectly over my printer, creating a controlled micro-climate that makes a noticeable difference in print adhesion and reliability.
The enclosure is constructed from a heavy-duty, flame-retardant aluminum foil cloth that feels exceptionally durable. The glass fiber rod frame is surprisingly rigid, ensuring that the cover maintains its shape without sagging during long overnight prints.
Setting up the frame was intuitive and only took a few minutes, which was a welcome surprise for a component of this size. I particularly appreciated the large transparent window, which allowed me to monitor the first layer of my prints without needing to unzip the front flap and lose internal heat.
This is an essential upgrade for any Ender user who frequently prints with ABS or other high-temperature filaments that are sensitive to ambient drafts.
After weeks of testing, I am confident in giving this a 4.78/5 rating. While the $199.00 price tag is a commitment, the improvement in print quality and the added peace of mind from the fireproof material make it a worthwhile investment.
